Today I will be interviewing Hassan Composer he is a singer / songwriter from Le Mans, France.

MY_COVER

Hi Hassan, tell me a little about yourself?
Hi Jay, first thank you for taking your time to interview me.
I was born July 24, 1979 in Casablanca from Morocco, now I live in France in the town of Le Mans. I studied Music Theory at the Arab Music Conservatory in 1997 Communal Casablanca and in 2002 I joined the orchestra in Moroccan Arabic song.
At the same time, I continued to write and compose my own songs with my first Album “NOSTALGIA”
My style is a mixture of Eastern music, European Classical music and world music. I always try to innovate in my field.

What are your aspirations?
I aspire to achieve my goals and achieve my deepest dreams and continue my ascent with my music creations to communicate with an international audience with my compositions!

How do you form your artistic vision when you create your songs?

It is the inspiration that helps me to create my artistic vision and it is through the latter that I could make the most beautiful pieces!
I also like the quiet, I feel it is the most important thing to  stimulate my creativity!

Tell me about your song “LIGHT OF MY HEART”, what inspired you to create such a beautiful song?
Thank you for your compliment. “Light of my Heart” is my perception of the love of a conquered heart, loving and seducing every day despite the distance and believes that Love is the creative power which cannot be removed by force!
This is a great need for humans, Intense, real, sincere and true!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I know God wants my music to be able to overcome great obstacles to the peace and serenity to the joy of others. Keeping my creativity positive, despite difficult circumstances!
Because nothing great can be easily acquired instantly!

Can you give some advice for budding composers?
Have the passion, read a lot, and especially listen to all kinds of music!
And not just the ones you like in particular. We must get into the habit of listening to all as well as less known to enrich your musical culture! Stimulate your creativity and try to write everything that goes through your head; these ideas can be, for example, the words of your next song, and then who knows!

Where can we find your music?
You can always follow all my news and my musical creations on my Facebook page Official: https://www.facebook.com/pages/HASSAN-COMPOSER/281301671889137

‘A warm sense of camaraderie’ – Time Out Dance Editor
Headway East London’s Dance Marathon is back in town on Saturday 27th April: An annual fundraiser for brain injury charity Headway East London, the Dance Marathon registration is now open and needs you!
With some of the finest DJs and musicians providing the soundtrack and expert hosts and dance teachers leading each hour, Headway East London’s Dance Marathon will move through the eras from 1930s – present day, taking participants through jitterbug, lindy hop, northern soul, funk, hip hop, breakdance, ceilidh, samba, and dance floor classic; Michael Jackson’s Thriller. With a mixture of Charleston shimmies, nineties head spins, gravity defying swing and moonwalking, The Dance Marathon is the only event of its kind in the UK. Entries are now open to be part of the next big dance craze to sweep the capital and raise some valuable cash for a thoroughly worthwhile charity.
Hackney based Headway East London supports people affected by brain injury across 14 London boroughs. It is London’s only inner city centre offering a variety of services five days a week including family and carer support, a younger person’s network, outreach, volunteering programme, occupational programme, advocacy and key therapies.
The Dance Marathon is the key fundraising event in Headway East London’s yearly calendar and they really go to town on it! Gone are the days of the US Dance Marathons of 1920s & 30s that lasted for days, even weeks at a time, with the record standing at 5,148 hours and 28.5 minutes! This side of pond we like to take things a little less seriously and with a little more glitter and florescent lycra…
On top of the perfect soundtrack and energy inducing dance instructors, there will be live bands, interactive entertainment, games, stalls, competitions and TV funny man Mark Dolan will be hosting throughout the day to keep toes tapping and hips shacking all day long.
To sign up, pop along to www.londondancemarathon.org.uk raise a minimum of £200, then rock up in your glad rags and best dancin’ shoes on Saturday 27th April at the beautiful St John at Hackney Church Hall.

By at March 25, 2013 | 1:19 pm | 0 Comment

This will see the MHFS 10k for Men (Men’s 10k) reach its 8th year in Glasgow and with every year, the event becomes bigger and better! It’s held each year on Father’s Day and its aim is to raise awareness of men’s health issues in Scotland and to encourage men to take part in healthy physical activity all year round.

Men of all ages (15 to 84 in 2012!) take part each year and of them, 40% are aged 40 and over, and around 40% are taking part in their first ever 10k event.

The course record was smashed in 2010 and is 30:47 and the last guy crossed the line in over 3 hours! So, whatever your time, you’ll have company along the route!

There is a brilliant atmosphere with men of all shapes and sizes encouraging each other along the scenic route encompassing two of Glasgow’s beautiful parks, Bellahouston and Pollok.

Sign up to the 10k for Men mailing list here http://eepurl.com/cyw1I to be kept up to date with all the news on the event – More information about the event can be found at www.mens10k.com

We look forward to seeing you and all the men in your life in Glasgow on June 16th!

EFT Level 1 Workshop with Dawson Church

By at March 23, 2013 | 12:19 am | 0 Comment

What:

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is a powerful self-help method based on research showing that emotional trauma contributes greatly to disease. Clinical trials have shown that EFT is able to rapidly reduce the emotional impact of memories and incidents that trigger emotional distress. Once the distress is reduced or removed, the body can often rebalance itself, and accelerate healing.

EFT uses elements of Cognitive Therapy and Exposure Therapy, and combines them with Acupressure, in the form of fingertip tapping on 12 acupuncture points. Over 20 clinical trials published in peer-reviewed medical and psychology journals have demonstrated that EFT is effective for phobias, anxiety, depression, posttraumatic stress disorder, pain, and other problems.

Who:

This is a workshop held by Dawson Church, PhD. He has edited or authored many books, and collaborated with leading authorities including Larry Dossey, MD, Bernie Siegel, MD, Christiane Northrup, MD, and others. He founded Soul Medicine Institute to research and teach emerging psychological and medical techniques that can yield fast and radical cures. His award-winning book, The Genie in Your Genes, (www.YourGeniusGene.com), pioneers the field of Epigenetics, explaining the remarkable self-healing mechanisms now emerging at the juncture of emotion and gene expression. He has authored numerous scientific studies through the Foundation for Epigenetic Medicine, and is the editor of Energy Psychology, a peer-reviewed journal. He shares how to apply these breakthroughs to health and athletic performance through EFT Universe (www.EFTUniverse.com), one of the largest alternative medicine sites on the web. Lauren Darges, RScP, a certified EFT Practitioner, will serve as an emotional assistant at the workshop.

Where:

2075 Occidental Road, Santa Rosa, Ca 95401, at the Center For Spiritual Living

When: Friday, April 19, 6-10pm; Saturday, April 20, 9am-6pm; Sunday, April 21, 1-5pm
