Take part in the Halloween hunt through Miniland and count the ghost Minifigures, build a LEGO brick scarecrow in the model builder’s workshop, or even build your own vampire castle!

Join us for a fantastic sponsored challenge in the heart of Chester.
After a motivational training session delivered by trained professionals, you will walk across 20 feet of wood embers burning at 1236 degrees Fahrenheit without experiencing any pain or injury! That’s hotter than the melting point of aluminium – are you up the challenge?

Training will begin at 6:00pm, and the FireWalk will take place at 8:00pm. Your sponsorship will be used to support those affected by stroke.

An exciting 3 day course for children aged 12-15 to qualify as a Knowsley Safari Junior Ranger.
Over the 3 day period the children will have the opportunity to experience “life” as an animal keeper, conservationist and zoologist.
There will be amazing behind the scenes experiences including:
Assisting our elephant keepers muck out the elephant house and meeting our herd face to face (or face to trunk)
A chance to feed our giraffes
A behind the scenes tour of the rhino house
Other activities will include:
Learning how to handle and health check a range of small mammals, reptiles and invertebrates
Carrying out behavioural studies on our meerkats
Chatting to our sea lion trainers about their jobs
This is a FANTASTIC opportunity for animal lovers and budding zoologists! All children will receive a certificate at the end to celebrate their graduation as a Junior Ranger

On Friday 20th – Monday 23rd July, the LEGO® Friends 2012 Roadshow is coming to LEGOLAND Discovery Centre at The Trafford Centre, Manchester.
Visitors will be introduced to the wonderful world of LEGO Friends and the five central characters; Emma, Olivia, Andrea, Stephanie and Mia who have travelled all the way from their hometown of ‘Heartlake City’. Each friend has her own hobbies and interests including animals, performing arts, invention and design. Come along with your friends and discover which of the LEGO Friends is most like you.
LEGO Friends is the must have girls’ toy of 2012, with LEGO mini-doll character figures, bright and beautiful new brick colours and extra special little details. Not only can you and your friends enjoy building the new LEGO sets, you can also have fun playing and acting out your own stories with the LEGO Friends characters in your very own Heartlake City that you’ve built together.
There will be a host of exciting activities at the roadshow for you to get involved with. Have fun building and playing with the range of sets; if you’re a budding scientist then try Olivia’s Inventors Workshop, or if you’re an animal lover then Mia’s Puppy House is for you! You can also try to find your inner fashionista and design an outfit for the stylist Emma in the LEGO Friends Roadshow competition.
If that wasn’t enough, there will be lots of LEGO Friends goodies up for grabs and you can sign up to the free LEGO Friends Club Magazine which is packed full of fun activities, games and stories.
