Join members and guests of JCI Leeds as we celebrate the past year at our 56th Annual Dinner. We have a Yorkshire feel to the evening with a menu comprised of ingredients sourced from around Yorkshire including Whitby Crab and beef from the Bolton Abbey Estate. It will, of course, also include Yorkshire pudding.
Our main speaker for the evening is Ajaz Ahmed Founder of Freeserve, the company that made the internet accessible to the general public. Freeserve had a million subscribers in its first six months and was part of the dot com bubble. Now a local entrepreneur and excellent public speaker, Ajaz is happy to share some of his funny and inspiring anecdotes with us.
Jonathan and Amanda Stone will be our hosts for the evening.

Come and explore the hidden treasures of Leeds’ Grand Theatre!

From it’s Grand opening in 1878 through more than 130 years of history to the present day. We’ll all have the chance to go behind the scenes to see where the magic happens, find out what it was like to be a Victorian theatre-goer and learn the secrets of this grade II listed building.

The tour takes one hour and costs £5.00 – payable in cash on the door. We’ll meet outside the theatre as a group from around 17:45 with an eye to the tour starting proper at 18:00.

Developing your Self Confidence

Confidence is important. A lack of confidence can hold you back from realising of your dreams; from taking risks and stretching yourself beyond your comfort zone; expressing an opinion and challenging the views of others.

Having attended this seminar, you will understand:

The workshops will be fun, interactive and will be practical with lots of opportunity on the day to reflect, discuss and contextualise how they will use this new learning back in the workplace.

Bobby Singh (www.bobbysingh.co.uk) specialises in the assessment, development and accreditation of people and organisations helping them to understand ‘where they are’, ‘where do they want to be’ and work with them to ‘get them there’. Bobby has worked with a range of individuals to reflect and develop new skills to improve performance and overcome the issues facing them.

Bobby is a former JCI member and Director with his contribution was recognised when I was awarded “Most outstanding member”. The first training session he ever delivered was for JCI!
