Gin X is the Lady Taking It to the Next Level

By at April 23, 2013 | 3:34 pm | 0 Comment

Hip Hop does not have a plethora of female emcees/ lyricists in the game to choose from. Over the past
few years maybe two or three women were able to break through to join the infamous “Boys Club”
the Hip Hop industry is notorious for having. It is not often that a female is able to make an impression
on such a male dominated industry, but Gin X is stepping up to the plate to show the world that she is
about that life. She is ready to show exactly who she is and why she belongs in the game.

Hi Gin X tell me a little about yourself?
I’m the Ultimate Diva and business women. I am a hip-hop artist, filmmaker, and writer. The self proclaimed hip-hop sex kitten, the Eartha Kitt of rap.

What was your inspiration to become a Female Emcee?
When I was a little girl hip-hop was constantly played in my house. I fell in love with Salt-n-Pepa and never looked back. I got my hiny whopped at 7 for calling rap city on bet everyday.

How long have you been Emcee?
At the age of 10 I wrote my first rap for are D.A.R.E program in Elementary. And I have been writing raps ever since.

Tell me about your New Hit Single”Silicone”?
Silicone is the song that makes you feel like your all that. For the bombshell who looks so good she doesn’t even look real.

Where do you see your self 5 years from now?
Having graced the cover of every magazine. Endorsed products, headlining tours, maybe having a baby boy and all of thee above. Just having an entire empire built.

Can you name some tips for aspiring Female Emcees?
Be authentic nobody wants to see a replica of some other rapper. And don’t change your style for nobody do you.
