BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in conjunction with Sheffield Doc/Fest (the biggest documentary film festival in Britain) are running a film competition called Digital Revolutions (http://sheffdocfest.com/view/digitalrevolutions) in which they’re encouraging amateur and professional film makers to make films about how digital technology has changed their lives for a cash prize of up to £10,000. They are also running free film workshops in Cardiff, Sheffield and Edinburgh that will teach film makers new skills and help them develop their ideas for the contest.
