Unicorn Kid
With his frantic dancing and demonic electro-dance, Unicorn Kid bucks the trend of dull DJ’s and showmanship and has received rave reviews in 2009.
A wee snip of a boy at the tender age of 17, Unicorn Kid AKA Oliver Sabin is a chip music composer and musician. He make most of his tracks on a vintage keyboard and FL Studio using a lot of synthesizers and effects to get that video game sound the genre is famous for.
Following his live show at E4′s Skinslife party, Sabin has had a number of BBC Radio 1 and XfM appearances and started to develop a following of young ‘Nintendocore’ enthusiasts.
He released his first 5 track EP for digital download in April 2008 and more recently has produced a 3-track Double B Side called ‘Lion Hat’ on Euphonios Records.
