Evans Cycles promote a number of cycling events around the UK. Here are two days of cycling fun taking place near Leeds in March.
Saturday March 20th: Off-road ride
Scenic views on an off road rideRoute description: One of our gentler rides this one. That’s not to say it’s all road and boring though. With a lovely stretch along the river Wharfe, by the side of Eccup reservoir and through the grounds of Harewood House there’s plenty to see. The event centre is in the tiny village of Harewood and the trails tend to be through open farmland and on good surfaces. Although we may need to change slightly if it’s been raining and they’re under water!

Breath taking scenery awaits sportive road ridersRoute description: Starting from Gateways again, we head out into the beautiful countryside above Leeds. Here we’ll ride along the banks of numerous reservoirs and streams peppering the area. These relatively flat sections are linked with climbs and descents through some remote countryside lanes to give you a rewarding day in the saddle
