Dyamic boogie woogie & blues piano hero Jamie Rowan joins the fun making a welcome return to Jump Jive and Shout expect Jamie Rowan to tear the place apart with a barnstorming live show inspired by some of the Mississippi greats Fats Domino and Jerry Lewis and more. This is one show you will not want to miss and you haven’t lived until you hear Jamie Rowan perform the Sticks Mcghee classic “Drinking wine spo de oh de”.
Come and enjoy the sizzlin’, pulsating sounds that captures the feel of the juke-joints, gins houses and rent parties of 40s/ 50s Harlem, Louisiana and the early Jamaican basement blues nights of 50s Notting Hill.
With Dj Jeniffer Jackson spins some of the very best in pulsating 1940s/50s rhythm n blues, jump jive, boogie woogie, blues shouters, doo wop and more at this lively, fun friendly retro style jive night where everyone is welcome.
