Ballyhoo Arts. A parade of giants made by Newport primary schools representing different elements of Christmas and will include snowmen, Jack Frost, Father Christmas, elves, reindeer, christmas trees, angels and more.
Each child participating in the project will also have made a simple hand held wand or hat to wear or carry. The parade will be followed by entertainment in John Frost Square. This event will bring a mass of colour and excitement to the city centre!
The city centre Christmas lights will be switched on at 5.00pm so come and make an afternoon of it!
