North Tyneside Fireworks Display @ The Links, Whitley Bay - Description
Free fireworks display and lots of family fun at The Links in Whitley Bay. Fairground rides will keep the children entertained from 6pm until the display begins at 7pm. Refreshments will also be available. Arrive in ample time to ensure you get a car parking space.

just wondering if the fire works are still going ahead in this awful weather???
I hope they are still on aswell as the bairn is going mad wanting to go and watch them… Weather seems a bit better than it ws so hopefully they will still go ahead with them.
FIREWORKS DISPLAY CANCELLED
North Tyneside Council’s annual fireworks display, which was due to take place tonight ( Sunday, November 1 ) at The Links, Whitley Bay has been cancelled due to poor weather conditions.
Weather permitting, the event will instead be held tomorrow (Monday, November 2) at 7pm at same place.

I’ve been told that it was cancelled this morning because of the rain by a friend who heard it over the radio.
Gutted!
CONFIRMED – the event has been CANCELED tonight. It is hoped to be held tomorrow.
the fireworks will be held in the same location today starting @ 7pm (slightly later than originaly planned.)
