St Cecilia Concert @ Bradford Cathedral - Description

The Bradford Cathedral Choir performs its annual St Ceciliatide concert at 7.30pm on Friday 19th November.

This annual concert in celebration of Church music provides a unique opportunity to hear the Choir at its very best.

St Cecilia, the patron saint of musicians and
Church music, is celebrated every year by choirs throughout the country around her feast day of 22nd November.

This year the concert includes Faure’s Requiem, The Twelve by William Walton, Bach’s
Jesu Meine Freude and Wesley’s Blessed be the God and Father. Andrew Teague (Organist &
Master of Choristers) and David Condry (Assistant Director of Music) direct with Paul Bowen (Assistant Organist) on the organ.

Tickets priced at £8/£5 are available from the Cathedral Office on 01274 777720 or on the door on the evening.
