About 10 years ago I was at a Tavern in the deep south-west of Australia in a town called Margaret River, enjoying a night out with friends.
A dreadlocked dude came out on stage and started playing the guitar. The entire dodgy tavern stood silent in raw admiration for talent we were witnessing.
That was one of John Butlers very first gigs. Now he’s and international super star.
