Wolverhampton’s lights will be switched on as Father Christmas rolls into town accompanied by a real reindeer parade, Bob the Builder, Titan the Robot, panto stars and children from the Punch Theatre Company.
The parade will leave Bell Street at 5.15pm and will travel along Cleveland Street, Garrick Street, Bilston Street and Dudley Street ending in Queen Square.
Beacon Radio will provide the evening’s entertainment and music in Victoria Street (between waterstones and Diffusion) from 5.15pm. At 6.30pm the lights will be switched on by Bob the Builder, Titan the Robot and the Right Worshipful the Mayor of Wolverhampton Councillor Surjan Singh Duhra and the sky will be set aglow with a dazzling firework display launched from city centre rooftops.
